The Learning Institute of Family
Education (LIFE) is a non-profit organization committed to helping men and women
build unity, healthy relationships, marriages and families. LIFE began its
relationships and family-intervention support program in 1992.
LIFE was formally organized
in 1994 as a non-profit, charitable corporation in the State of Michigan, and is
a 501 (c) (3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code.The executive director and founder is Mary C. Taylor, Ph.D.
Mission
Our mission is to develop quality programs to enable African American men
and women to build unity, healthy and productive relationships to strengthen
families within the community.
Vision
Our
ultimate objective is a community without broken families.
